3 credits. 4 hours. (Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours.) Prerequisites: MATE 101 or 130, and MATH 103 or concurrent enrollment. This course is designed to provide training on computer numerical controlled lathe turning centers. The student will process, program, verify and trouble shoot CNC lathe programs. Set-up and operations are covered and CADCAM programming will be introduced.
