3 credits. 3 hours. (Lecture 3 hours.) Prerequisite: EHSS 200. This course is presented to provide an overview of health and safety variables involved in common processes used in industry today. The EHS student is provided with information from the perspective of controlling and managing mechanical, electrical and chemical hazards associated with processes and the by-products from those processes. Students will work together to address common problems in process control and become aware of potential liabilities that employers endure in today's industrial climate.
