Previously PHIL 102 (Prerequisite: RDG 0950 or Accuplacer Reading score of 80 or equivalent) Examines important ethical theories and contemporary moral issues. Such issues as war and violence, the death penalty, euthanasia, privacy, animal rights and world hunger are discussed. The course will assist students in critically examining their own views and those of others, past and present, on these issues.
