Previously BA 211 (Prerequisites: BA 1101 or 1133 or division approval) Business Law is an introductory law course that provides an overview of the legal system and an introduction to common legal principles. The course focuses on topics particularly relevant to business, including the legal system, torts, contracts, product liability and agency. The course will assist students in identifying and understanding the sources of liability and strategies to minimize legal risk. Distance Learning option available (see page 45).
