This course provides an opportunity to practice and attain competence in practical nursing skills and procedures. The course provides the practical nursing student with the necessary skills to meet the basic needs of clients. It includes helping the student develop an understanding of human behavior and interpersonal relationships and the role of the practical nurse in the healthcare delivery system. Included in this course is clinical experience in a long term care facility. Prerequisite: PNSG1640.
