This course assists students to synthesize and integrate previous concepts, knowledge, and skills into expected practice of the AS degree nursing graduate. Nurses' roles as providers and managers of care and members within the nursing profession are identified and discussed. The student is also exposed to the professional nurse's role in community health and legal/ethical issues. Emphasis is placed on identifying sources of referral, case findings, community assessment, family theory, and transcultural nursing. Prerequisite: NURS2304, NURS2309, and NURS2312. Corequisite: NURS2322, NURS2329, and NURS2339.
