This course builds on practical nursing concepts, knowledge, and skills. All age groups are included while focusing on fluid and electrolytes, nutrition, activity, rest, and protection/safety related to illness. The course prepares students to provide care to clients having acute and chronic health problems. Emphasis is on the development of nursing care plans to assist the client with adaptive care related to complex health issues. This course is valid as a prerequisite for one year only. Corequisite: NURS2304 and NURS2309.
