This course is part of a supervised student occupational experience (SOE). This is an opportunity for the learner to apply previous knowledge of microbiology in the following areas: set up and interpretation of various cultures, selection of appropriate biochemical testing, susceptibility testing, automation, mycology, virology, and parasitology. Learning by doing is emphasized along with professionalism. Prerequisite: MELT2602.
