This course meets Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) goal area 4. This course consists of college level skills not covered in College Prep Algebra including logic, problem solving techniques, numbers, financial mathematics, statistics, probability, linear and exponential growth, geometry, and symmetry. Emphasis is placed on applications to real world situations and assists learners in their life and career decision making. This course is intended for those learners pursuing degrees in disciplines that do not require calculus. Prerequisite: College level math score on a placement test or a minimum grade of "C" in College Prep Algebra (MATH0325), orsatisfactory performance in high school Algebra II within the last three years.
