This course discusses the importance of and the technologies involved with creating a web site that enables users to purchase items online. Concepts covered include SSL, cookies, authenticating users, and the advantages and disadvantages of various methods used to store user information. Advanced ColdFusion skills are employed to create a web site that utilizes wish lists and/or shopping carts. A leased laptop from the college is required. Prerequisite: CWEB1529, CWEB1534, and COPR1504. Strongly recommended: CWEB1536.
