Subject:
Description:
Students use the knowledge and skills accumulated over the course of two years to design and implement a network from scratch on a full-time basis. This involves a number of activities that may vary from one year to the next. It starts with network analysis and design. The course then progresses to the practical implementation of switching, routing, network protocols, servers, workstations, security, and related technologies. Students may also do shadow days or start a job, if it fits with the project. Guest speakers are invited to share with the group, and in some cases, interview students for jobs.
