This course teaches students to design and implement security solutions to reduce the risk of revenue loss and vulnerability. It combines hands-on experience, instructor led lectures, and a web based curriculum while preparing students for certification in this field. This course prepares students for the Cisco Firewall Specialist exam and begins the preparation needed for the security-professional CCSP certification. Successful completion of the course also prepares students for the CompTIA Security+ exam and for further network security study. Prerequisite: CVNP1611, and CVNP3602.
