This course addresses a number of specific aspects of fashion merchandising in the context of retail merchandising. The course is designed in blocks of instruction. Learners gain knowledge in areas critical to success in fashion retailing. This course provides the learner with an understanding of concepts in financial and assortment planning, textiles, store planning and layout concepts, visual merchandising and display concepts, and staffing issues. Prerequisite: FASH1601 and MKTG1507.
