This course meets Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) goal areas 5 and 8. This course exposes the learner to a culture that exists outside the United States. Learners are required to prepare a critical cultural comparison between the destination country/city and their own country/city. The foreign culture is experienced through research, classroom experiences, and an intensive immersion through a travel experience.
