This course explores the use of color in creating images in the historically important medium of oil paint on canvas. A sense of color and history are added to the student artist's newly developed drawing skills in seeing values, shapes, and edges. A realistic approach is used to continue the learning process of seeing how an artist sees. Prerequisite: COAR1612 or equivalent.
