This course meets Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) goal areas 3 and 10. This course provides the learner with many principles and theories of biology. It includes an investigation in the biodiversity, classification, species, and populations of life. Addressed in this course are the fundamentals in human health and disease, ecology, conservation, biodiversity, and growth rate changes of humans and plants. Lab experience is included. Knowledge of basic genetics is suggested.
