Prerequisite: SOC 2510 The student will demonstrate his or her knowledge of racial and ethnic minorities in American society by scientifically analyzing the superordinate and subordinate relationships in his or her culture. The student will investigate and analyze the socioeconomic, legal/political and educational factors which affect and determine the majority-minority status of Jews, Japanese, Chinese Americans, Mexican Americans, Puerto Ricans, American Indians and Afro-Americans.
