Prerequisite: TER 1610, or consent of instructor This course will provide the student a comprehensive exposure to the theory, installation and servicing of hydronic and steam heating systems. The student will calculate heat loss (Institute of Boilers and Radiation method) as well as layout and size radiation and piping plus select an appropriate boiler. Additional consideration will be given to operational characteristics and troubleshooting of steam and hot water systems. Course/lab fees
