Prerequisite: SUR 1600 Corequisite: SUR 2400 This course is designed to provide the surgical technology student with the opportunity to utilize knowledge and skills in the operating room setting. The course will allow the surgical technology student to function in the role of first scrub, with assistance of first scrub solo under the direct supervision of a clinical preceptor in general, gynecological, urological, plastic reconstruction and ear, nose and throat surgical procedures.
