Prerequisites: MTC 2000 This is the final course for students in the Automation Systems Technology and Control Systems Technology programs. It is the last in a series of courses designed to teach students how to diagnose and troubleshoot industrial systems. The instructional approach is competency-based contextual learning. Course content includes advanced topics in industrial automation systems; including electrical systems, mechanical systems, fluid power systems, and industrial controls. Students will continue to use the flexible manufacturing system (fms), the electromechanical trainers, and simulation software programs for automation and electrical systems. Course/lab fees
