This course is designed to familiarize the student with the various infant/toddler child care settings in the tri-county area; formal and informal assessment, brain development, developing appropriate physical environments, planning daily schedules, creating and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, health and safety issues and supporting families. Michigan's Infant/toddler licensing regulations will be featured. Course includes 90 fieldwork hours in a variety of Child Care Centers.
