Prerequisite: ESL 1510 or appropriate MTELP scores. (Enrollment is limited to students whose first language is not English.) General Education Attributes 1, 2, 6 This course introduces strategies for improving reading comprehension of academic texts and developing compositions using a variety of organizational structures. The logic patterns of English and the processes of writing for academic purposes will be introduced or reviewed.
