Equivalent to PLS 2200 (2003-2004) Prerequisites: CRJ 1010, CRJ 1030 The student will identify the investigative procedures and techniques used in the process of gathering facts, testing hypotheses and the proof required in factually concluding that a crime was committed. The student will recognize, collect and prepare physical evidence for transmission to courts and will prepare a report of an investigation as required in the prosecution of a criminal case. The student will examine physical evidence in a laboratory situation to determine scientific analysis required to assist in case preparation and forensic use. Course/lab fees
