The student will identify, define and describe the fundamentals of housekeeping and laundry management including a thorough knowledge of proper record keeping organization, functions and executive responsibilities of this department in the hotel/motel industry. The student will practice training procedures for employees of this department including the essentials of leadership based on proper planning, implementation, efficiency, purchasing, hygiene, staffing and scheduling.
