Prerequisites: CIS 1300 This course is designed for aspiring security professionals, system or network administrators, or other information technology professionals who want to learn about computer security. Being a part of two courses, this part focuses on the security engineer who needs to worry about the attacks used by hackers and the defenses against them. The course makes an effort to understand defenses against Reconnaissance, Scanning, Gaining Access, Maintaining access and covering tracks. Last but not the least, the course covers computer ethics.
