Equivalent to CIS 1650 (2003-2004) Prerequisite: CIS 1300 This course provides te necessary preparation to attempt the CompTIA Network+ Certification exam. Topics include: Basic network knowledge, the physical layer, data-link layer, network layer, transport layer, TCP/IP fundamentals, TCP/IP suite: utilities, remote connectivity, security, implementing the installation of the network, maintaining and supporting the network and troubleshooting the network.
