General Education Attributes 1, 6, 8 Students will understand French spoken by a native speaker at normal speed, will read and comprehend selected paragraphs written in French and will write grammatically correct French prose. They will speak in correct structural patterns in short conversations with the instructor and with other students. Students will also interpret characteristics of the language and the culture via a variety of experiences utilizing the basic grammatical patterns of conversation involving familiar situations and experiences.
