Students should have a basic knowledge of Internet technologies and a basic understanding of general programming concepts and techniques before enrolling in this course. This course focuses on the design and implementation of wireless Internet and mobile business application software. Web-based defacto standards and tools (e.g., WAP, WML, XML, XHTML, Microsoft Windows CE, J2ME) for software development, content management, and networking will be emphasized. Students will learn how to design and create Web clientserver application software using popular wireless or mobile devices. M-Business models and related security issues will also be covered. Students will be required to complete computerbased assignments inside/outside of class. Course/lab fees
