This course introduces the students to JavaScript programming. Emphasis is placed on programming techniques as well as the basics of web languages. This is a hands-on course where students are introduced to the flow of control, classes, objects, and methods. Students will learn to program with classes and methods as well as work with streams and file I/O, arrays, recursion and applets. Students should be familiar with elementary word processing and Microsoft Windows file management techniques prior to enrolling in this class.
