Equivalent to CIS 2780 (2003-2004) Prerequisites: CIS 1500 or CIS 2151 Students should have a basic knowledge of Internet technologies before enrolling in this course. This course focuses on design and implementation techniques for client-server Web-based application software. Client-server software engineering design and development concepts will be emphasized. Related networking and computer system communication protocols will also be studied as they apply to Web software engineering. Implementation exercises will focus on the use of specific Java-based tools (JavaServerPages, Servlets, JavaBeans, and JavaScript). Students will be required to complete computer-based assignments inside/ outside of class. Course/lab fees
