Prerequisite: CIS 1305 or consent of instructor This course presents Personal Computer (PC) based system configurations as they relate to a PC IT Technician's work environment Study covers internal architecture, the instruction set, DMA, ROM, internal CPU registers and flags, magnetic and laser recording systems, system timing, technical tips, and troubleshooting. Classroom lectures will be supplemented by laboratory modules. Material in this course will assist students in preparing for credentialing examinations such as the A+ Certification and the Network+ Certification. Course/lab fees
