This course provides an overview of business information systems and aims to present the central information systems principles, and demonstrate how they form an integral part of modern organizations. Topics include computer hardware and software fundamentals, use of software packages, an introduction to the Internet, systems analysis, the design of management information systems, as well as the impact of computers on business and society.
