Students will be introduced to the fundamental concepts, techniques and tools for understanding, creating and manipulating computer graphics suitable for use on web pages. Topics include bitmap and vector protocols, compression techniques, web graphic protocols, low-end tools for image creation and manipulation and I/O graphic techniques. Students will publish their images on a web page as a final project. Students will be required to complete computerbased assignments inside/outside of class. Course/lab fees
