The student will be introduced to the inert gas arc welding technique as well as the concept of flux free arc welding. Theory of machine operation and joining techniques will be introduced through textbooks, films, movies and demonstrations. The student will perform several objectives and thereby gain valuable work experience and abilities on ferrous and nonferrous metals. Safe and proper work habits and procedures will be practiced.
