General Education Attributes 2, 3, 4 The student will develop a sense of insight into anatomical structure and develop skills in sculptural techniques by producing works in a variety of media from the live model. The student will work in the techniques of kilnfired clay, plaster additive, direct carving and plastic and metal casting. The various techniques, mediums, and philosophies will be explored through classroom demonstrations, film/slide presentations and gallery/museum visits. Frequent class critiques will be initiated as an ongoing method of positive evaluation. Course/lab fees
