Prerequisites: CCM 1500, MAT 1050 or higherlevel math course This course will emphasize strengths of concrete, concrete mix design, components of admixtures and their effects in the quality and proportion ratio in different concrete applications. Air, slump, and yield testing are various types of concrete testing methods that will be explored for both concrete paving and flatwork construction.
