General Education Attributes.2, 3, 6, 7 In this course we will examine basic concepts in the biological evolution of Homo sapiens. The concepts needed to understand evolution, such as natural selection, will be studied. The evolution of primates and examination of existing primates will be stressed. The function of culture as it relates to human evolution and the development of culture as seen through archaeological techniques will also be studied.
