Prerequisite: MTH 0103 or minimum secondary assessment score. This non-credit course is designed for students with little or no high school algebra background. Concepts covered include: signed numbers, algebraic expressions, factoring, fractions, linear equations and inequalities, graphing, exponents, and quadratic equations. This course is graded with "S" for satisfactory or "U" for unsatisfactory. To receive a grade of "S", the student must have an average of 70% or better passing course work for the semester. Three lecture hours a week. Credit: None.
