Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. Level I fieldwork is designed to introduce students to the fieldwork experience, to apply knowledge to practice, and to develop understanding of the needs of clients. It is designed to enrich the first semester coursework through participation in selected aspects of the occupational therapy process. Eight clinical hours a week. Credit: One semester hour.
