Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. Review of basic musculoskeletal anatomy and introduction to medical terminology as it relates to the structure and function of the human musculoskeletal and sensory systems. The concepts of kinesiology, the basic mechanics of motion, will be introduced and the development of skills in the analysis of movement will be emphasized. Two lecture hours and three laboratory hours a week. Credit: Three semester hours.
