Prerequisite: GS 1113. This course is a study of the bullet's flight from barrel to target; history and evolution of loading components; use of various types of powder, primers and cases; types of bullets and effect on rifling in barrel; actual loading and testing of ammunition; loading tools and dies; and safety factors. One lecture and two laboratory hours a week. Credit: Two semester hours.
