Prerequisite: None. This course is designed to provide the student an understanding of the principles and techniques of guiding children in group and individual settings. General understanding of behavior patterns of children, methods of guiding and directing children's behavior, and activities for positive growth and development are studied. The laboratory provides for application of these principles. Two lecture and two laboratory hours a week. Credit: Three semester hours.
