Prerequisite: None. This is a laboratory course with specific emphasis on the development of skills and techniques for working with young children in cognitive activities math, science, social science, and field trips. An understanding of each area and presentation of learning experiences and activities to children in a group setting is developed. Two lecture and two laboratory hours a week. Credit: Three semester hours.
