Lecture FY1011, FY1001, EN1015, NS1011, NS1021, NS1111, NS1211, NS1311, NS Core Trans, EN1021 Contemporary Issues in Science is a seminar course in which students will have the opportunity to explore major topics in the natural sciences with depth. The course will consist of reading, writing, student led discussions, and poster presentations in an atmosphere of respect and care for each individual's opinion. Topics will be drawn from current scientific research which has an impact on society, either because of ethical or social issues. Students will need to read and think critically and skeptically, and present clear, well supported arguments both in writing and verbally.
