5 Credits This course allows the student to gain practical experience in providing clinical care to patients and performing administrative tasks that occur in a medical practice. Students will be placed in a primary site, a physician's office or rural health clinic for the bulk of their training. In addition, they will participate in two rotations where they will gain in-depth experience in hospital-based phlebotomy and patient assessment and education. Pre/Co-requisites: BIO214/BIO216, MAS116, MAS121, MAS215, MAS217, MAS114, MAS115, MAS211, MAS212, MAS217.
