7 Credits This course is a continuation of Fundamentals of Precision Machining Technology I (PMT101). Students will be introduced to advanced machining concepts and practices found in modern machine shops. Students will select proper work holding devices, proper tooling and utilize the more advanced setup techniques required for advanced machining. Geometric dimensioning and tolerances will be discussed as it relates to quality control and inspection. Prerequisite: PMT101.
