3 Credits This course is designed to teach the student Personal Computer architecture, the operation and interrelation of its internal components and peripheral devices, its memory organization, the Basic I/O (BIOS) system, and current DOS and Windows Operating Systems. Students will build and troubleshoot a computer from basic components. The content of this course is intended to reflect the objectives of the industry recognized A+ Certification. This course is intended to prepare the student for A+ Certification.
