3 Credits Students will read and discuss a selection of 20th Century German literature in translation, including poetry, short stories, and novels. German culture as well as historical events greatly influenced German literature during this tumultuous period. In addition, students will be exposed to the cultural diversity of German language and literature. Discussion will be augmented by films as well as guest speakers. Prerequisites: ENG 101 or ENG 121.
