3 Credits (2-2-0) This course is a study of chemicals commonly used to assist in the management of pest problems on crops, ornamental plants, and turf areas. Topics include selection of pesticide, storage of chemicals, state test and license, mixing of chemicals, and calibration of equipment. Upon course completion, students will be able to select and safely apply pesticides. Prerequisite: None.
