Introduces the economic and social problems relating to the labor management field. The development and functions of labor and employer organizations are reviewed. Regulatory law and protective labor legislation are considered, the first with reference to the laws on wages, hours, working conditions, social security, elimination of discrimination and health hazards. The historical development and current functions of labor and management are examined within the framework on the relevant regulatory law and labor legislation. (3 lec, 0 lab)
